ARE YOU A SAFE PLACE?

Can someone trust us with their vulnerability or brokenness, and it not be weaponized against them in a public or private setting? Will we magnify their flaws over their strengths - because it makes us feel superior? Will we compare and contrast our similar dysfunctions - to see if we're more healed than they are? When we check in with them - are we genuinely concerned about their well-being, or do we want to keep tabs on or monitor them? Will we cover them in prayer and not use prayer to embarrass them? Heart check: It's never too late to become a safe place.
